Submission of UPSTART Executive Summary counts as registration for the event. The shortlisted teams will be required to register for'E-Summit'19 later.

The last date for submitting/editing your B-Plan for Upstart Finale : IIT Kanpur is 20th August

The additional fees will be taken for E-Summit registration after shortlisting.

The accomodation can be booked on townscript and will be in the campus itself. We recommend to stay in the campus due to multiple events and networking opportunities.

Not Necessarily. The registered participants will be first shortlisted on basis of pitch deck.

No, we do not accept any other documents. The judging will be done strictly on the basis of documents which have been asked for.

A single registration should be done for a single entry. If you have registered more than once, please send an e-mail to mentioning information about all the registrations made for the entry

The entries for UPSTART’19 are judged by reputed VC’s, established entrepreneurs and industrialists who believe in promoting entrepreneurship. Your entry is only viewed by the judge. At no stage is an organizer permitted to view your executive summary/ B-Plan. Presentations are closed door.

Refer to the Judging Criteria section provided at each of the sub-competition pages. Judging will be done by a group of reputed entrepreneurs, Venture Capitalists and experienced people from the industry.

No, we encourage the entry of all well-developed business plans.

Top performing teams of both the editions will be assigned a mentor. The teams shall then have a brainstorming session with the assigned mentors wherein they can discuss any aspect of their business which demands guidance and help.

A mentor will be allotted to all the teams that qualify for the main round.
