Mohandas Pai

Mohandas Pai, Chairman, Aarin Capital and Manipal Global Education is a Padma Shri Awardee and former CFO and Board Member at Infosys. He is the co-founder of Akshaya Patra, the world's largest midday meal program. He works actively with the government and regulators on policy recommendations and guidelines. Mohan has served as the Chairman of the Board of SEBI, and is now a Board Member of the National Stock Exchange in India. He has emerged as one of India's most prolific angel investors. He also leads a private equity fund - Aarin Capital - along with Manipal Group Chairman Ranjan Pai.

Kris Gopalakrishnan

Senapathy Kris Gopalkrishnan was one of the 7 engineers who co-founded Infosys. He is now the Chairman of Axilor Ventures, which is an accelerator that aids early-age start-ups to succeed. Recognized as a global business and technology thought leader, he was voted the top CEO (IT Services category) in Institutional Investor's inaugural ranking of Asia's Top Executives and selected as one of the winners of the second Asian Corporate Director Recognition Awards by Corporate Governance Asia in 2011. He was elected president of India's apex industry chamber Confederation of Indian Industry for 2013-14, and served as one of the co-chairs of the World Economic Forum in Davos in January 2014. In January 2011, the Government of India awarded Mr. Gopalakrishnan the Padma Bhushan, the country’s third-highest civilian honor.

Ram Gopal

Ram Gopal, the Chief Executive Officer at Barclays Bank India, since Oct 2017, is responsible for the performance, growth, regulatory relationships and future strategy of all the businesses conducted in the banking entity in India. Formerly being Chief Operating Officer, Ram contributed to the in-country leadership of India, with focus on strategy and execution. Being a member of the Country Executive Committee and Chair of the Operating Committee, he was responsible for the design and execution of a country strategy that supports the financial performance and market position of Barclays Bank in India. Also being a member on the Board of Barclays Technology Centre and Barclays Shared Services, he had provided effective support to the Country Manager in the discharge of governance responsibilities of the shared service companies. Prior to joining Barclays, Ram spent 11 years at Standard Chartered UAE and three years at Citibank, India prior to that. He is a member of the European Business Group Banking and Finance committee where he represents the firm’s interests. Ram holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and is a CFA charter holder.

Manu Kumar Jain

Manu Kumar Jain (born: 25 January 1981) is a leading Indian entrepreneur and the Global Vice President of Xiaomi. He is also the Managing Director of Xiaomi India. Jain co-founded Jabong.com, a fashion and lifestyle e-commerce portal in India and served as its Managing Director from February 2012 to January 2014. After his B.Tech from IIT Delhi, Jain joined Headstrong (later acquired by Genpact) as a Software Engineer.He subsequently secured an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta in 2007. Post his MBA, Jain joined McKinsey & Company in 2007.

Jatin Rajput

Jatin Rajput, Founder, Ad-In Ventures brings over 20 years of experience growing financial services and technology businesses across both developed and emerging markets. Prior to setting up Ad-In, Jatin served as Managing Director at Deutsche Bank AG and held senior roles in strategy, M&A and investments in London, New York and Singapore. He has also worked as a management consultant with Marakon Associates and started his career at Arthur Andersen. Vishesh Rajaram

Vishesh is the Managing Partner at Speciale Invest – a technology focused venture capital fund. Vishesh has over 10 years of investing experience across enterprise technologies and consumer services. He has been actively involved across the life-cycle of venture capital investing from deal sourcing, building networks, investing, monitoring and creating value and exit engineering. Prior to setting up Speciale Invest, Vishesh was Principal at VenturEast an early stage venture capital fund where he invested in technology companies such as Loylty Rewardz, Richcore, Goli Vada Pav, Vysr amongst various others. Shalini Prakash

Shalini is the co-founder of Epic, India’s first Rewards based SuperApp. Epic is built to help enterprises optimize rewards based programs for their customers. Prior to this, Shalini was a Venture Partner at 500Startups, a global venture capital firm and accelerator based in Silicon Valley. She led 500’s investments across India and invested in the region’s most talented founders. As an active member of the startup ecosystem, Shalini is also an Advisor to AngelList India and WeWork (startup labs). She has been involved with several initiatives including serving as a panel member Judge for the Xprize Safety Prize, mentoring at Facebook’s SheLeadsTech and in 2016, Shalini also served as the the Global Ambassador of Women’s Entrepreneurship Day (UN supported initiative). Rushikesh Chaudhari

Rushikesh Chaudhari, an Aerospace Engineer, a dual degree graduate from IIT Kanpur is the Founder & CEO of Pi Drones, Founded by IIT Kanpur Alumni in January 2018, Pi Drones (Tecrient Space Pvt. Ltd.) is a start-Up incubated at SIIC, IIT Kanpur. Using expertise in hybrid VTOL drones, they are currently developing professional imaging drones for large area mapping and inspection. He was also the Co-founder of TechEagle Innovations, a startup engaged in the development of unmanned aerial vehicles, with a prime focus on custom-made drones featuring a payload capacity ranging between one to ten kilograms and autonomy ranging between one to five hours. It had also worked on drones for delivering readymade tea, for which it took orders via a companion mobile application. It could carry a load of up to 2 kgs and travel for up to 10 km. The company was acquired by Zomato in 2018 for developing multi-rotor drones for the latter that can pick up a payload under 5 kg and set up and set up delivery circuits for reducing the last mile delivery leg.

Vatsal Kanakiya

Vatsal Kanakiya is the CTO of 100X.VC and part of the venture investment team of his family office Mehta Ventures. He is the youngest team member as CTO at 100X.VC, the first VC to invest in early stage startups using India SAFE Notes. Hussein Kanji

Hussein is a partner at Hoxton Ventures. He currently represents Hoxton on the boards of Behavox, Biotx, Darktrace, Fy!, Giraffe360, Karakuri, Kbox Global, Loveshark, Panakeia, TourRadar, XYZ Reality, and Yieldify. He previously served on the boards of Babylon Health, bd4travel (acquired by Dnata), Campanja (acquired by 24/7 Media), and Deliveroo. Prior to forming Hoxton, Hussein was an associate with Accel Partners in London. He joined Accel from Microsoft Corporation where he was a platform planner, product manager and senior manager in Redmond, WA. Earlier in his career, Hussein helped form Safe-View (acquired by L-3), Radiance Technologies (acquired by Comcast), and Studio Verso (acquired by KPMG), all in the Bay Area. While forming Hoxton, Hussein helped Eros STX Global develop and launch ErosNow, an online streaming video platform for Bollywood. He also helped the UK government with policy initiatives to develop the local tech industry. He continues to appear occasionally on BBC, Bloomberg, CNN and Sky News. Hussein holds an MBA from London Business School, and did his undergraduate studies in Symbolic Systems at Stanford University. He stubbornly refuses to swear allegiance to a monarch, and remains a proud American.

Piyush Gupta

Piyush Gupta, Managong Director at Sequoia's Strategic Development team, works with founders to identify and create strategic engagement with global corporates and investors. Prior to joining Sequoia, he spent 17 years in investment banking in India, Hong Kong and Singapore, focused on the TMT sectors. His experience spans the entire capital structure, including public and private equity, converts, bonds, loans and M&A. Jayesh Parekh is a Managing Partner & Senior Advisor at Jungle Ventures Fund, a Pan-Asian Venture Capital cross-border technology fund based in Singapore. Jayesh is on the Advisory Board of Akhand Jyoti Eye Hospital in India. He is on the Board and the Investment Committee of Aavishkaar India II Fund and Aavishkaar Frontier Fund, which are social impact funds. Farid Ahsan

Farid Ahsan is the co-founder of ShareChat. ShareChat is an Indian social media platform developed by Mohalla Tech Pvt Ltd. and founded by 3 IIT Kanpur graduates. Sharechat has over 100 million monthly active users, a feat they have managed to achieve in less than four years.
