What is Youth Enterpreneurship
Challenge?

Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge offers an ideal platform for curious young minds to tackle everyday problems with ingenuity and originality. From imparting fundamental concepts of entrepreneurship to refining imaginative ideas, to crafting a business plan and presenting it to a panel of respected judges, this platform/challenge has it all!

Through this platform/challenge, participants will learn to turn their passion into profitable ventures and develop essential skills that will serve them well in their personal and professional lives.

Terms & Conditions

Registration cost of single person is ₹ 129 and for a team is ₹ 200.
YEC is open to registration for students from classes 9-12.
Click on the 'Register Now' button to sign up to YEC. Only the team leader has to register for each team.
After each round the teams will be shortlisted based on their submissions.
The Final Round will be held in IIT Kanpur during ESummit'23 in front of an experts panel.
Online Sessions will be held to familiarize participants with contents and the requirements of each stage of the challenge.

Rules

Participants can register in teams of 1-3 members.
Participants must be enrolled in any class from classes 9-12 in an accredited institution.
All the deadlines mentioned in the 'Roadmap' are sacrosanct and any entries beyond the deadline will not be entertained.
E-Cell IIT Kanpur holds the right to and final say in the distribution of prizes.

Do all the participants of a team need to belong to the same class or school?

Are there any age restrictions for participating in the challenge?

No, the only restriction is that the participants must be from classes 9-12.

Can students participate on an individual basis?

Yes, a student can participate as a single member team.

What is the fee for participation in The Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge?

A registration fee of 200Rs. will be required for a team if the participants choose to participate in a team of 2-3 members. If a participant chooses to participate individually he/she will have to pay 129Rs.
